Cardinal Distribution for Cardinal.com eReceiver.
Cardinal.com eReceiver is Cardinal Distribution’s real-time, Internet-based receiving
application. Cardinal.com eReceiver is a natural extension of the quality control process
used in Cardinal Distribution’s warehouses to verify the accuracy of each order. Each
product is scanned against the electronic shipping documents prior to the order being
shipped, to insure that the delivery quantity matches the submitted invoiced quantity.
Using a tethered Symbol HotShot barcode-scanning device, each product is reconciled
against the electronic manifest by the receiving customer. In the event that any products
are missing, damaged or misallocated, the pharmacy technician can request research,
support and credit from Cardinal Distribution through eReceiver’s online built-in customer
